Traveling to Greece has been at the top of my bucket list ever since I can remember (honestly, probably since the first time I watched Mamma Mia). The blue-domed churches of Santorini are a photographer’s dream, especially during sunset when the sky glows in shades of pink and orange. Greece is more than just Santorini—imagine a romantic shoot in Mykonos, with its charming windmills and narrow streets. For history lovers, Athens provides a stunning mix of ancient ruins and modern city life. Whether you want to capture your inner Dancing Queen or explore the historic elegance of the islands, Greece offers endless inspiration (and delicious food!)

Hawaii – Lush Landscapes & Golden Beaches

Maybe it’s the cold weather that New England has been experiencing recently, but a visiting tropical destination is all I can think about right now! Hawaii is a paradise for photographers, with its diverse landscapes ranging from volcanic craters to pristine beaches. Imagine a golden hour session at Lanikai Beach, with its soft white sand and turquoise waters. Or, picture a dramatic elopement shoot at Waiʻānapanapa State Park on Maui, where black sand beaches contrast against the deep blue ocean. Whether it’s the lush valleys of Kauai or the iconic cliffs of Oahu’s North Shore, Hawaii is a dream setting for an unforgettable photoshoot.

California - Golden Hour & Urban Vibes

Fun fact about me: I have never been to the West Coast! (And I am DYING to go! Disneyland anyone??) California is the perfect mix of city energy and coastal beauty. In San Diego, picture a dreamy engagement session at Sunset Cliffs, where rugged rocks meet the endless Pacific. If you’re drawn to cityscapes, Los Angeles offers iconic backdrops like the Griffith Observatory or the urban-chic vibes of Downtown LA. And for a true California feel, there’s always Malibu, with its scenic beaches and golden sunsets. No matter the vibe, California delivers stunning locations for a shoot.

The Carolinas – Southern Charm & Coastal Magic

Both North and South Carolina have an undeniable charm, making them perfect for a cozy, romantic shoot. In Charleston, the cobblestone streets and historic homes create a timeless setting, while Folly Beach provides a relaxed, beachy vibe. If you love mountain views, Asheville, North Carolina, with its rolling Blue Ridge Mountains, is a stunning place for adventure-filled portraits (and something a little different from my typical Cape Cod nautical sessions). Whether it's the coast or the countryside, the Carolinas are full of beautiful spots to explore.

Italy – Timeless Beauty & Cultural Richness

Italy holds a special place in my heart since I studied abroad in Florence, and I would jump at the opportunity to go back! Imagine strolling through the colorful streets of Capri, capturing the magic of the Amalfi Coast. Or a romantic session in Venice, where gondolas glide through charming canals. For history lovers, Rome offers breathtaking backdrops like the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain. And of course, Florence will always be a must-visit destination for everyone looking to explore Italy’s charm (and incredible food). No matter where you go in Italy, every corner is a picture-perfect moment waiting to happen.

Denmark – Fairytale Cities & Coastal Serenity

I would love nothing more than to visit the rainbow houses and fairytale-style settings throughout Denmark! In Copenhagen, the vibrant buildings of Nyhavn make for a playful and colorful backdrop, while Tivoli Gardens adds a whimsical, storybook feel. Beyond the city, Skagen is where two seas meet, creating a unique and dramatic landscape for an unforgettable photoshoot. Denmark’s mix of history, modern design, and stunning nature makes it a dream destination for any traveler or photographer.
